Curacorn ®, is an innovative method of introducing extra cushioning under tender areas of the foot, for example, under painful corns and areas where the fatty pad is less than normal.
The sterile gel used is a Hyaluronic Acid Gel which has a decades long safety record and is painlessly injected fairly superficially into the skin under local anaesthetic.
The procedure is virtually painless and uneventful although it does involve injecting local anaesthetic into the foot.
As with all minor surgical procedures there can be no guarantee of success but some patients get many months and years of pain relief not easily helped by conventional methods.
