Katie’s journey to becoming a podiatrist is a testament to the power of inspiration and dedication. Growing up next to Marian, the influential founder of The Foot and Gait, sparked her interest in the field. This early exposure led her to pursue work experience at the clinic in 2015, where she discovered the significant impact of foot health on overall quality of life. Motivated, she pursued podiatry at Plymouth University, graduating with top honors.
Her career has seen her contribute to NHS trusts in Sheffield and North London, where she honed her skills in vascular pathologies and wound care. In Sheffield, her work with vascular specialists expanded her expertise, while in London, she embraced the challenges of acute wound clinics and patient education. Her passion for dermatology and transforming painful feet into comfortable ones drives her practice.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys the simple pleasures of exploring local beaches, dining out, attending gigs, and dabbling in crafts. Her story is one of continuous learning and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of her patients.
