Imaobong (Ima) is currently pursuing her BSc in Podiatry at the University of Brighton, where she is developing the expertise to become a fully qualified podiatrist. Her clinical experience spans diverse healthcare settings, including private podiatry clinics, NHS facilities, and specialist clinics overseas, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of foot health across different healthcare systems.
Since beginning her podiatry studies, Ima has focused on evidence-based treatments for podiatric conditions and musculoskeletal pathologies. She is particularly excited about exploring the role of functional medicine in resolving podiatric conditions and continues to develop specialized skills in gait analysis, diabetes foot care, wound care assessments, nail surgery, and orthotic therapy. Her approach integrates traditional podiatric practices with her passion for holistic, whole-person care.
Drawing from years of practice in alternative therapies, Ima brings a unique perspective to patient care that bridges conventional and complementary approaches. This background originally inspired her journey into podiatry and continues to inform her belief that optimal foot health requires understanding the individual behind the condition.
